I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter safely during all of this. For me, I've been keeping myself busy both in music, and with the community. Still am, actually going to be streaming tomorrow if all goes to plan with this costume arriving in the mail (Guh-Huzzah dared me to get it last stream.) Anyways onto the main course. I decided I would release this track since the one I showed more recently is still in the works. I hope you enjoy this one!!! ____________________________________ Song+Visuals: This was made about a month ago after I was in a very retro mood. I've explored this sort of music before, but not on this scale. This song tells a story that is of course a bit cliche, but it was made for fun!!! And pardon my singing, I am really trying. I think I plan on taking some classes for college one day to better my vocals, not sure on that yet, but I would like to!! The song tells the story of a dystopian future where the world in it's entirety is controlled by martial law. Riots are frequent recurring events, and most people are staying indoors because of it. REMEMBER this was made before it got bad, I may have just predicted our outcome. OKAY... Now that I am writing this out, it hits a little too close to home. Lmfao That pretty much sums up the whole thing, not much to say in terms of story. Haha As for visuals, I wanted to put my 3D modelling experience to the test. Originally this was going to have 16-bit styled visuals, but I went the easier route and did 3D since I have more experience in that than pixel related things. The monorail in the video was really satisfying to finish up, really happy on how that turned out!!! And the lighting I had some fun tinkering with, and I think I got the vaporwave aesthetic down!!! And the name. I was originally going to make the story be told by a doomer in a much more realistic situation, but I scrapped it. I honestly don't know if I would be classified as a doomer, probably though given that I am not a boomer, but a gen-z. Then again I still have hope for the future, even if it's a gloomy one- Anyways enough about me. Lol ____________________________________ Next track: Next track I have already shown bits and pieces already, but it will be likely done by sometime in May. Apologies that I have been uploading only one track per month as of late. Just been a bit stressed, so I am currently easing down on the upload rate. ____________________________________ And that's about all I wanted to cover.
