Hello everyone, welcome to another Hands On Engineering tutorial. In this lab, we’ll be discussing how to use an external ADC. We’ll go over how to convert from the values in the ADC to an actual voltage and demonstrate how much better this ADC is than the one that’s built into the Arduino Nano. This video is part 2 of 2. Part 1 is here: /watch/ItjCJKA8U348C We recommend watching the following labs or being familiar with their content before proceeding in this lab. Only the first part is linked for the labs that have multiple parts. You should watch all parts of those labs before proceeding. Lab 1 (part 1): /watch/ABqEV0YE6MQEE Lab 2 (part 1): /watch/EoI5G6MGJ0BG5 Lab 3: /watch/grYdqwHBLczBd Lab 4: /watch/4Z6uj-iAghFAu Lab 7 (part 1): /watch/gRF_-iJ-OV1-_ As always, here’s the link to the PDF. It goes over a bit more about the settings of the ADC and gives the part number for the device we used. In addition, it gives a bit more discussion about how to convert from the raw ADC value to a voltage. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xRKbOr4rd3-NJm_x4vO8pULg1-cpOamu/view?usp=sharing Sincerely, The Hands On Engineering Team This video was sponsored by the National Science Foundation, Grant AGS1452097
