Elated UAB Police Officer Released After 92 Days in Hospital with COVID-19

UAB police Sgt. Parnell Guyton was released Tuesday, June 30, 2020 after being hospitalized since March 31 with COVID-19. Guyton, 47, has spent the last month at Spain Rehabilitation after a 59-day stay in the COVID-19 ICU unit at UAB Hospital. He was on a ventilator for 45 days.
