#chefJ is whipping up some delicious and nutritious Banana Peanut Butter Bites in the kitchen today! One of the most frequently asked questions I get about my diet is if I snack…and the answer is YES. Snacking keeps my energy up and my body fueled! It’s an essential part of what I eat in a day. Here is a step by step breakdown of one of my favorite snacks that I meal prep on Sunday nights and snack on throughout the week. These little bites are not only super easy and quick to make, but they are the BEST snack to have on hand. These bites are both a very healthy option to curb your sweet tooth and are also a super affordable snack. Eating healthy doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated! DIRECTIONS: STEP 1: Cut bananas into little coins about 1/2 an inch thick STEP 2: Add a layer of peanut butter (or any other nut butter) to one banana slice and add another banana slice on top of that to create a little sandwich. STEP 3: Melt dark chocolate in a pan and dip the banana peanut butter sandwiches into it. STEP 4: Freeze for one hour and enjoy right away or store them for the perfect sweet bite when the craving hits! Comment below and let me know if you tried this recipe!
