One-to-one learning devices are becoming a staple part of early education. But with students bringing their own devices to school, teaching and learning experiences can vary greatly from pupil to pupil. Sandringham School in St Albans, Hertfordshire have run a bring your own device program since September 2014. Students had a freedom of choice on what devices they could bring to school which brought a number of challenges with student devices operating systems varying. In September 2022, they moved to a standardised solution and adopted the ASUS Chromebook CR1100 for their year 7 intake which has not only made students lives easier allowing them to seamlessly continue their studies whether they're in the classroom or at home, but it has also helped teachers ensure their students all have the same learning experience being on the same device.
