@riskyboi3503 years ago Personally my favorite part of this fight is from to , they are at their strongest ever, and right at that mark, the music starts to falter, their SOUL starts to fade away, and yet they continue to fight on, they become increasingly desperate to win, pulling out all the stops until, at the very end, only one hit away from victory, they are unable to push themselves any further. They finally see that this fight is one they cannot win, And they reflect back on her life, suddenly realizing that the amount of pain and suffering that they are going through was the exact pain and suffering that they gave all of the amalgamations. It is at this point where they realize that they deserve this, and finally give in. ... 54

@richtigmann13 years ago Just such an amazing Fan Boss fight. it's really well made, looks exactly like something in the game it's very high quality, good music, doesn't just copy sans (looking at you, people who decide to make everyone not have invincibility frames and dodge attacks) the gaster blasters aren't the most original , but I'd forgive them because of their creative and effective usage, and Alyphy's last stand where they are weakening but continuing to fight is just epic, and their attacks (other than the gaster blasters.. get your own damn blasters!) make pretty creative use of stuff that Alyphy'is established to have. It perfectly nails the oh gosh I feel bad for murdering everyone feeling ... 73

The interactivity and using motifs from the other characters really elevates the whole experience. The world can be a horrible place, but we should be happy people are making art like this, sharing it and us experiencing it together. I can only imagine how Toby feels seeing this. ... 7

3.speedrun by doing genocide countless times untill you are the fastest speedruner......... aaaand someone does a faster run than you so you do the entire run again and again, and the cycle loops ... 6

@aceofjacks70713 years ago yo the idea of Alphys utilising the abilities of other bosses like Sans, considering she studies them and worked with Gaster, is a REALLY cool concept, and I love that the theme here has some motifs from Battle Against A True Hero and (Asgore's theme that I can't spell)! Alphys definitely has the potential to put the "hell" in "bullet hell", considering she created all the puzzles in Hotland and Mettaton, meaning she gave him that power herself.

@ARayV3 years ago This is beautiful and heartbreaking. Alphys remembers everything about her friends and uses ALL of it against you. The music proves it. You can hear some of many of their themes within the battle theme.
By this point, she knows it's suicide to fight you. But she doesn't care. She'd rather be dead if she has no one to live for anymore.
She's got DETERMINATION in her SOUL, and if she loses, has set herself to be punished in the way she ruined all those other monsters' lives. Melting from the DETERMINATION. ... 4111

@dylanzlol72932 years ago 10000/10 battle, it's so intense and epic i love it, and not only that, there's a little extra fun challenge to the battle as well if you taunt her through the ACT button, maknig things way more fun, and the taunts are so brutal i love them, for example, when she says "how many more need to die before you'll be satisfied?!", in the next turn you can taunt her and ask her if she's talking to herself, good fight, and good challenge as well, the item setup is nice i guess too ... 3

@wackyboss55603 years ago This would be so cool if it were real- the theme song itself - it's a mix of lots of different themes from her friends and also sounds like an anime boss fight at the same time- which matches alphys perfectly along with the fight itself- we see alot of the same stuff we see in the normal mettaton fight- which would make sense but we also see a little bit from the asgor fight mixed in there too- puzzles parts work really well and we end up rooting for alphys to win much like she did to frisk in the Pacifist which is ironic - but it also wouldve given a bit of lore to it given that she was using gaster blasters - confirming that alphys probably worked with gaster - and ultimately we felt like we were actually fighting a nerd there was this 1 part which matched an 80s game which worked really well- and the fact that half her attacks are just her using robots to help really works with it - on top of all this phase 2 was impeccable it was like a massive climax to an incredibly hard special attack that worked just right- hard enough to get u 1 tap but still survival if u cant tank - it also matched the piano in the waterfall which is a nice nod to that- and the ending itself seems fitting although we feel like we want her to win- she melts from the dt and accepts that she deserves this pain and suffering she put others through and accepts that she is meant to die which is quite sad but overall adding everything I've said together really makes this worthy of an actually ut boss fight - ps I would like to point out that this is one of the first fan bosses that is actually fair and balanced especially for lvl 12 and I would like to appreciate how it's not insanely hard or the fact that it doesnt drag on for an insane amount of time - it just fits so well defo a 10/10 bossfight and wouldve been great to see in the game 👍 ... 5

It's really cool and looks like it could be a good middle boss between Undyne the Undying and Sans, along with how well Alphys' character is captured here. Even the ending attack is really cool and seems unique to Alphys rather than being something similar from Sans, Mettaton, and even a little of Asgore. The ending with the game telling you to finish the job is gut punching with how you coded it so a player who was having regrets after the battle may try to back out after leaving her in a state of agony. ... 907

@Gebunator3 years ago Thanks youtube recommended. I almost had forgotten about UnderTale Fan mods! This one is pretty dang good too. I do like how it looks like Alphys has done analyzed the others and incorporated their moves to hers, along with the obvious usage of Metatron bombs. All coupled with the fastforwarding and rewinding, just beautiful.

Her attacks, ranging from Muffet-style mechanics to Mettaton’s attacks (obviously), even to Asgore’s circular “spiral” attack; the Gaster Blasters and the color puzzle - goes to show what a damn good scientist she is, and how she took on after her predecessor.
The dialogue, especially “it’s an internal transformation”, is perfect. I don’t know what else to say.
The music is so good, I’m saving it in my playlists permanently. It’s amazing. And the slow/fast-forward effects at the end of the battle drove me crazy with how well-placed they were and how much they creeped me out as Alphys slowly melted away.
And the end... her expression after the final blow, how it changed to relief, was such a good detail. Phenomenal.
I might watch this about 1,000 more times. ... 597

I especially love how her attacks turn into a rhythm game towards the end, I feel like that's so true to Alphys. I've never watched a fake boss battle that was this solid. Really nicely done. ... 7
