A rectfier is an electronic circuit which converts ac into dc.Rectifiers are of two types:- 1) Half Wave Rectifier 2) Full Wave Rectifier. A full wave rectifier converts ac into dc during both the half cycles i.e., positive and negative half cycle or it conducts for the entire duration of the ac signal waveform. It is of two types:- 1) Centre Tapped type 2) Bridge type This video gives a detailed description about full wave rectifiers including basic construction, operating principle, circuit diagram, input and output waveforms, advantages and disadvantages etc .
