I get the feeling that they cant innovate or make t id="hidden8"he ui more streamlined because itll fuck up the workflow of the veteran pros who have used it for 30 years.
the most annoying part was needing 3+ clicks for most functions that plenty of lower level daws could complete in one. You had to memorize a complete hieroglyph of key commands to work at the same speed as a default logic pro (for example)
if they came out with different versions for different use cases, id consider going back to it. But then again ive heard they stopped issuing perpetual licenses in leu of a subscription model now so its probably a no from me anyways. ...Expand

but protools is still the standard
