Mother Goose Time: Part 3 (Rhymes, Songs, Literacy Tip, & Goodbye)

Published 16 Apr 2021

April 27, 2021 Fort Bend County Libraries offers a variety of free programs every week for children of all ages. When the libraries are closed, the programs are presented virtually as pre-recorded videos that families can enjoy from the comfort and safety of home. New videos are being posted on a regular basis. The programs are divided into different age groups so that children may enjoy stories and activities that are appropriate for their age range. • Mother Goose Time provides caregiver/infant multisensory circle-time activities -- including simple sign language, folksongs and lullabies, and fingerplays -- that are specially designed to stimulate babies’ social, emotional, and physical development through rhythm and music. Mother Goose Time is intended for infants from age 1 month to 12 months. • Toddler Time offers caregiver/child activities, stories, and songs for older babies, from 12 to 36 months of age. • Preschool Story Time offers stories, movies, and age-appropriate craft activities for children, 3 to 6 years of age. • The After-School Breaks include crafts, movies, stories, and more for school-aged children in grades K through 5. • The Middle School programs include activities specially designed for kids in grades 6 through 8.
