@Dekenlast year It seems there is a big backstory and a lot of context missing that occurred between this couple before this small clip of their lives. I feel Steven's words are coming from a place of hurt and mistrust toward his wife. I've no idea whether she's done anything to warrant those emotions from him. At , Steven says, "The other man you see, the love comes back."
I'm uncertain if he's speaking of himself if his wife begins to "do wifely things" out of love for him as well as "live by discipline and mutual respect." Whereas she'd receive that in return. However, when @ when Hillary says, "Then I will ask someone to come pick me up. Who would you like me to ask?" Steven replies, "What, was that a threat?" That piece of the conversation almost leads me to believe there might have been a third party involved, another man.
This scenario could definitely cause Steven to speak to his wife in the way he is in this particular video out of hurt, suspicion, and jealousy. I am not claiming that is what happened, but consider the possibility even though Crowder did deny it. Maybe he didn't want that recorded because of his children which is admirable.
I don't know. It's just a potentially different perspective. Maybe he's a guy desperately trying to save his marriage, lost his contract with a company he felt that tried to screw him, had a major surgery and almost died from a collapsed lung afterwards. Tough couple of years.
Sadly, I think he took some of his anger out on Dave Landau and was possibly somewhat envious of the success Dave was gaining through Louder with Crowder. I hope Steven sees he did the same thing to Dave with his contract that he believed Jeremy attempted to do to him, and that they can make amends. Dave said in the beginning years of working with Crowder, it was great and he was easy-going. Even in your comment section i see so many people jumping towards him being an abuser. i looked at the comment section and i see everyone focusing on him saying he doesn' t love her, but nobody focusing on him saying she didn' t show him any love. This whole situation just looks like an extension of a frequent argument they had that boiled over.
i have been on the receiving end of " i love you but. " then being dismissed, ignored, guilt tripped for having a problem that i wanted to talk out, and worse. I could definitely sense some of that going on here with the dismissiveness on both sides. I have also lashed out after being treated like that in the past, and while how steven responded was uglier than i did i can definitely understand such a response from the overwhelming feeling of powerlessness.
this to me looks like a typical fighting divorce with the typical feminine passive aggressive, deceptive, or even up to manipulative (though that is difficult to make out without the months leading up to it as context) and the masculine aggressive anger fueled response to fear and pain. I fear that we' re all being made a fool of by how exactly the clip is made as there seems to be so much important context missing. I keep feeling bothered by the steven saying she didn' t give him any love. I have definitely experienced having someone tell me repeatedly that they loved me while boundary stomping over my ptsd symptoms back in the day, so i really want to know what happened with that before i judge him, or her for that matter. ...Expand 10

I dont care how sick someone is or scared they are, they dont get to treat their significant other that way especially a woman who is probably high risk and 8 month pregnant with twins. The harm that stress does to the woman and the babies is dangerous and could have put her in early labor. It could also lead to lots of complications including depression.
I will fully admit I might be projecting because I had a baby in July and I remember how hard it was (my husband was in Alaska so I was alone at that time).
